The Rock

Wednesday's 6-7:30pm

"The Rock" is Bagby's youth ministry for students in middle and high school. Students meet every Wednesday night at 6pm with dinner in the fellowship hall.

All kids gather at the church for dinner.  At 6:30pm, all kids participate in opening worship in the sanctuary and then middle/high schoolers go next door to the "Brick House" for age appropriate activities based on the Bible lesson of the night. An offering is received for the children of the Thailand Blessing Home located in Pattaya, Thailand and several times during the year Holy Communion, led by our Pastor, is celebrated. Brick House activities are led by our Youth Pastor, Sue Roberts, and other volunteers.

We also participate in fund raising events (like dinners after church) to raise money to go on trips like Winter Jam, the local Corn Maze, summer camp at Aldersgate and lots of other fun adventures!

We recognize that middle and high school kids are in life transition and need to understand how God is involved with their lives. Our hope is to share the love of Jesus Christ and the Word of God with our students so that they will come to know Him as their Lord and Savior and be able to rely upon Him for their life choices.

If you would like your student to participate in The Rock, print out the information form and bring it when you come next Wednesday night. We're looking forward to meeting you!

All volunteers serving children 18 years and younger have been background checked and trained in our "Safe Sanctuaries" policy.
