  • Sue roberts - Youth Pastor

When I was 18 years old I organized a youth group in my home church. Whew! What was I thinking? Shortly after I married, my husband and I started working with the youth group at our church and quit due to a job change and move. After several years, a divorce, and a couple more moves, my son, Paul and I moved to Grayson and started attending Bagby. When he began attending youth group I started hanging out with them and chaperoning their trips and the kids started calling me “Momma Sue”.

Well, here we are now, Paul is a grown man living in Seattle, Washington (boy, does that make a Momma weep) and God led me back to the Bagby youth. I love working with this group of Middle and High School age youth – they are teaching me so very much. I am honored to be able to walk down the streets of Grayson and hear a young adult call out, “Hey, Momma Sue!” Now there is a whole new generation of kids calling me “Momma Sue”. In the midst of being Momma to these kids, I do work 40 hours a week for an electric company – I am rarely bored with my life.

I give God praise for all He has done and continues to do for me. Feel free to contact me, Sue Roberts, at youth@bagbyumc.org.

  • Lisa angel - Secretary

While I have a business management background, Bagby has been my place of employment since 2009. Being the Church Secretary, I feel I have the opportunity to further the kingdom each day which has been a dream of mine for a long time.

Abel and I have been married for 37 years and live (and work) on the family farm raising beef cattle and chickens with the occasional pig and goat taking residence in the barn. We are the proud parents of two children, Max and Shelly who both currently live and work in Lexington.

My heart's desire is to love others as my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, loves me and to bring glory to Him each day as I serve Him. You can contact me, Lisa Angel, at secretary@bagbyumc.org.

  • Tammy kiser- Children's Ministry

I have worked in the nursery and with children at Bagby for over 25 years. It is such a joy to care for the babies and children of parents I cared for as babies and children (that's a mouthful!) I am a kindergarten teacher in the Olive Hill school system. I truly enjoy the opportunity to share my faith in Jesus by teaching and spending time with the children of Bagby.

Feel free to contact me, Tammy Kiser, at children@bagbyumc.org.
